Acropolis Casinos Bonus Policy

We love being generous with our bonuses and we want to provide you with as many opportunities to play as we possibly can! However we do need to protect ourselves from other players who only play in our casino in order to cash-out the bonus chips.

As a result, unless stated otherwise, all our bonuses are unredeemable. This basically means that you can't cash-out bonus chips. You can cash-out your winnings, you can cash-out your deposits; you just can't cash-out bonus money. Any outstanding bonuses will be deducted from the cash-outs that you request.

When you visit the cashier in the Casino Lobby and request a cash-out you will be clearly shown which funds are available for withdrawal before you commit to any cash-out requests.

If you do not wish to receive any bonus chips, please contact our support team. We also reserve the right to deny bonuses to players.

A basic example of unredeemable bonuses:

The easiest way to explain is to give you an example:

What Bob does:
Bob's Bankroll:
Bob's bankroll contains:
Bob deposits $200 and receives a $100 bonus
$300
$200 of his money, $100 of bonus money
Bob wins $300!!
$600
$500 of his money, $100 of bonus money
Bob requests a cash-out of $600
$0
The money has gone through to cash-outs

Bob will receive $500 as the bonus will be deducted from his cash-out before he is sent his money.

How are the balances affected as Bob wins and loses money?

Wagers you make are taken from your money first, and then the bonus money. Winnings are paid back into the bonus funds until they reach the original amount, after which they are paid into your money.

What Bob does:
Bob's Bankroll:
Bob's bankroll contains:
Bob deposits $200 and receives a $100 bonus
$300
$200 of his money, $100 of bonus money
Bob loses $50
$250
$150 of his money, $100 of bonus money
Bob wins $20
$270
$170 of his money, $100 of bonus money
Bob loses $250 $20 $0 of his money, $20 of bonus money
Bob wins $50 $70 $0 of his money, $70 of bonus money
Bob wins $50 $120 $20 of his money, $100 of bonus money

Wagering requirements

In addition to the requirements above, unless stated otherwise, we also require a minimum play-through.

The minimum play-through, or wagering requirement, is expressed as 'number x (deposit+bonus)'. This means that you must wager the deposit and the bonus the indicated number of times before you can cash-out.

E.g. If you deposit $200 and claim a $100 bonus you must wager $3600 (12x$300) before you can cash-out.

You also only need to wager the amount of the deposit that was used to claim the bonus, so if you claim a 100% match bonus up to $100 by purchasing $500, you only need to wager $2400 (12x$200) before you can cashout.

Please note that wagers on some games do not count towards the wagering requirements of some promotions.

What is a wager?

A wager is defined as 'Putting money at risk'. So if you were playing blackjack at $5 a hand you must play 200 hands in order to wager $1000. You may win, lose or draw as many of these hands as you can - it doesn't matter. What matters is that you wagered it.

If you request a cash-out before you have met the wagering requirements, the bonus and any winnings will be deducted from your cash-out before the funds are sent to you.

Can you give me an example of wagering requirements?

What Bob does:
Bob's Bankroll:
Bob's bankroll contains:
Bob deposits $200 and receives a $100 bonus
$300
$200 of his money, $100 of bonus money
Bob wagers $600 and wins $300!!
$600
$500 of his money, $100 of bonus money
Bob requests a cash-out of $600
$0
The money has gone through to cash-outs

Now in this case the minimum play-through for the bonus is 12x, so Bob must wager $3600 (12x$300) before he can cash-out his winnings.

As Bob has only wagered $600, the $100 bonus and the $300 winnings will be deducted from his cash-out so we will send him $200 (the cash-out minus the bonus, minus the winnings).

So what would happen if Bob lost?

What Bob does:
Bob's Bankroll:
Bob's bankroll contains:
Bob deposits $200 and receives a $100 bonus
$300
$200 of his money, $100 of bonus money
Bob wagers $3600 but loses $150
$150
$50 of his money, $100 of bonus money
Bob requests a cash-out of $150
$0
The money has gone through to cash-outs

When you play in the casino you play with your chips first, then the bonus chips so we will send him $50 (the cash-out minus the bonus).

OK, so what would happen if Bob met the wagering requirements and won?

What Bob does:
Bob's Bankroll:
Bob's bankroll contains:
Bob deposits $200 and receives a $100 bonus
$300
$200 of his money, $100 of bonus money
Bob wagers $4000 and wins $300!!
$600
$500 of his money, $100 of bonus money
Bob requests a cash-out of $600
$0
The money has gone through to cash-outs

The play through was 12x, so Bob has wagered more than the minimum of $3600 (12x$300). This means we will send him $500 (the cash-out minus the bonus)

What happens if Bob claims another bonus before he has finished the first one?

The new wagering requirements simply add on to the remainder of the old ones:

What Bob does:
Bob's Bankroll:
Bob's bankroll contains:
Bob deposits $200 and receives a $100 bonus
$300
$200 of his money, $100 of bonus money
Bob wagers $500 and wins $300!!
$600
$500 of his money, $100 of bonus money
Bob deposits $50 and receives a $50 bonus
$700
$550 of his money, $150 of bonus money
Bob wagers $500 and wins $300!! $1000 $850 of his money, $150 of bonus money
Bob requests a cash-out of $1000 $0 The money has gone through to cash-outs

In order to cash-out his winnings, Bob would need to wager $4800 (12x$300 + 12x$100). As Bob has only wagered $1000, the $150 bonus and the $600 winnings will be deducted from his cash-out. This means we will send him $250 (the cash-out minus the bonus minus the winnings).

You can see the importance of meeting the wagering requirements!

What if Bob deposits again before he has finished the first deposit and bonus?

The deposit is added to his money and the wagering remains unchanged:

What Bob does:
Bob's Bankroll:
Bob's bankroll contains:
Bob deposits $200 and receives a $100 bonus
$300
$200 of his money, $100 of bonus money
Bob wagers $2000 and wins $300!!
$600
$500 of his money, $100 of bonus money
Bob deposits $50
$650
$550 of his money, $100 of bonus money
Bob wagers $2000 and wins $300!! $950 $850 of his money, $100 of bonus money
Bob requests a cash-out of $950 $0 The money has gone through to cash-outs

The play through was 12x, so Bob has wagered more than the minimum of $3600 (12x$300). This means we will send him $850 (the cash-out minus the bonus)

What if Bob deposits again while his bonus balance is lower than it started at?

The deposit will be added to the bonus money until it reaches its original level, the remainder will be added to his money. The wagering remains unchanged.

What Bob does:
Bob's Bankroll:
Bob's bankroll contains:
Bob deposits $200 and receives a $100 bonus
$300
$200 of his money, $100 of bonus money
Bob wagers $4000 but loses $250
$50
$0 of his money, $50 of bonus money
Bob deposits $100
$150
$50 of his money, $100 of bonus money
Bob requests a cash-out of $150 $0 The money has gone through to cash-outs

Bob has wagered more than the requirement of $3600 (12x$300) so we will send him $50 (the cash-out minus the bonus).

As long as you are playing with any part of a bonus, the bonus remains active and its original amount cannot be cashed-out regardless of any further deposits. We realise how this can seem unfair, which is why we strongly advise you to finish playing with a bonus before you make any further deposits.

Please contact our 24hr support desk who will be glad to help if you have any problems or questions.

How low does my bankroll need to get before it counts as having lost the bonus?

If your account balance falls to $1 or less the wagering requirements are reset and the remaining bonus becomes your money.

What Bob does:
Bob's Bankroll:
Bob's bankroll contains:
Bob deposits $200 and receives a $100 bonus
$300
$200 of his money, $100 of bonus money
Bob wagers $1000 but loses $299
$1
$0 of his money, $1 of bonus money
The remaining bonus becomes Bob's money
$1
$1 of his money, $0 of bonus money
Bob deposits $50 and receives a $50 bonus
$101
$51 of his money, $50 of bonus money
Bob wagers $1500 and wins $300!! $401 $351 of his money, $50 of bonus money
Bob requests a cash-out of $401 $0 The money has gone through to cash-outs

Bob's bankroll fell to $1 so the fact that he didn't wager the required $2400 (12x$200) doesn't matter, his new deposit and bonus count as being completely separate. Bob wagered the $1200 (12x$100) he needed to in order to cash-out his winnings from the second bonus, so we will send Bob $351 (the cash-out minus the bonus).
